To get more effective, interesting, and creative photographs, there are a few key features on your camera that you need to understand. We have designed a workshop that can be used to dispel the mystery of your owner's manual and launch you into the fun and creative world of photography.

Know your Camera is a two hour workshop presentation that offers an informative and comprehensive approach to using your digital camera with confidence. If you know of a group or individual who would benefit from this type of program, please contact us to set up a workshop in your area.

Take the Picture is our follow up workshop which deals with composition and using your camera creatively. It is designed to help you see like a photographer and improve the overall look of your photographs.

Photo Tip- When using your camera's flash, try masking it with a translucent material, like wax paper, to reduce harshness and make a softer image.

All workshops and private lessons are personally instructed by Stephen Greensides who has 10 years of professional photography experience. Stephen was also an instructor of photography at the Visual Arts Center in Orleans as well as a past president of the Orleans Photo Club. His enthusiasm and passion for photography is contagious and participants will enjoy the easy-going manner in which he approaches the subject.

Our workshops also include a workbook for you to keep as a reference and a password for you to enter our on line photography forum which is exclusive to workshop participants.
